Dr. Lili Tong is a comprehensive ophthalmologist providing medical and surgical ophthalmology services in the Greater Toronto Area. She provides medical, laser, and surgical treatment for a wide variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal diseases. Dr. Tong specializes in anterior segment surgery, including advanced cataract and pterygium excision surgery. She is on staff at William Osler Health System and has surgical privileges at Peel Memorial Centre and Uptown Surgical Center.

Dr. Tong received her Honours Bachelor of Science with high distinction from the University of Toronto. She received her medical degree from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University, earning the Michael Cohen Ophthalmology Award upon graduation. She completed her ophthalmic training at the University of Toronto Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, receiving the Michael Shea Senior Resident Award. Dr. Tong is currently a board-certified Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

She is active in teaching medical learners and contributes to peer-reviewed research. She has published textbook chapters, contributed to scientific literature, and presented at national conferences. In addition, she can provide service to patients in English and Mandarin and strives to serve her multi-cultural community by taking care of all aspects of patient care.
